Man, I have never been the biggest fan of Square-Enix's Play Arts Kai figures - there's been a few good figures, mainly non-humans like Garrus and Tali, or armoured characters like Halo Spartans - but these Star Trek figures based on Chris Pine and Zach Quinto's incarnations of Kirk and Spock are... something else.
I can't tell what bothers me the most, the unnecessary chest articulation that makes our intrepid Starfleet officers look like they're wearing boob plates, the fact that Kirk scarily looks like Hayden Christensen rather than Chris Pine, or the faces etched in a look that screams 'I could really do with pooping right now' rather than determination or toughness.
Aaaaaaah!

Whilst there's no confirmation of a release date for these figures, expect them at some point later this year.
