Found-footage horror flick Afflicted had a pretty good run at Fantastic Fest (THE festival for all things genre). The pictured walked out with Best Picture, Best Screenplay and Best Director in the horror category. Now take a look at the trailer.
Directed, written and starring Derek Lee and Clif Prowse, Afflicted is getting a lot of love. Here's the official synopsis:
This terrifying horror thriller follows two best friends who set out on the trip of a lifetime around the world. Their journey, documented every step of the way, soon takes a dark and unexpected turn after an encounter with a beautiful woman in Paris leaves one of them mysteriously afflicted.
And it hits theaters on April 4th, 2014.
