The half creep, half hero male counterpart to Hannah in Girls is rumored to be playing a villain who's introduced in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars. Rumors suggest the character is "Darth Vader"-like. Because casting a young Vader worked out so well last time.

Not sure how to feel about this news, but Variety is reporting that Adam Driver is very close to signing on as the ongoing villain of the new Star Wars trilogy. "Exact details are unknown, but the character is said to be in the vein of iconic Star Wars villain Darth Vader."

This isn't the first time Driver has been tied to the new Star Wars film, so we're pretty confident trusting in this rumor. And he was long rumored to be the new Nightwing in the Batman Vs. Superman movie, which he later flat out denied. Bottom line: Everybody wants this guy in their big budget movie. I like Driver, a lot. He'a a great actor and has a fantastic face plus he looks great on camera. However I'm not super thrilled about another young bad guy. Anakin has ruined me, possibly forever, on this. On a great note, this news gives me the excuse to post "Please Mr. Kennedy" from Inside Llewyn Davis. "OUTER.... SPACE!"

Star Wars Episode VII will be released December 18, 2015.

Scarlett Johansson is an alien. A sexy alien? And this sexy alien needs sexy men to feed her alien... hunger? Honestly I have no idea. Please someone tell me what is happening in this movie.

Thanks to Hitfix, we now have another look at Jonathan Glazer's Under The Skin, which stars Scarjo and a lot of unknowns, based on the novel by Michael Faber. It's got a very art house, "oooh you don't know what's going on do you?" vibe. And that's cool, I just hope that Scarjo gets to Species some of these fellas she's trapping in her, um, alien web? She probably doesn't have an alien web, but wouldn't it be cool if she did?

Under the Skin will be released in Los Angeles and New York on April 4th.

Michael Douglas has officially signed on Edgar Wright's Ant-Man. And now Marvel is revealing that he's playing Hank Pym, which means Paul Rudd (the lead and younger Ant-Man of this story) is the other comic book iteration of this hero Scott Lang. But wait, there's a twist. Spoilers ahead.

Variety is reporting that Douglas is 100% in to star as the retired scientists Hank Pym who invented the serum that turned himself into a superhero (with the abilities to change his size). After Pym retired he then bestowed the Ant-Man title to Lang. However it seems that there is more to this story than meets the eye. Movie critic Devin Faraci spied this change in the Variety title.

Which makes even MORE sense when you really think about it. Why else would Douglas sign on, he was either going to be a very bit cameo part (which would most likely have been kept under wraps by Marvel as a surprise) or he's a very important character. Villain makes a whole lotta sense. Also who doesn't love a bitter, retired superhero that goes from good to bad?

A brand new photo from the Wachowskis' adventure Jupiter Ascending is one part dream spectacle and two parts insane prosthetic makeup. Here's a supreme closeup of main character Channing Tatum in full wolf-warrior mode. And if you can't swallow this look, there's no hope for Jupiter Ascending. However... if anyone can pull it off, it's Tatum.

Released via Entertainment Weekly the plot for Jupiter Ascending is as follows:

Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) is an unlucky Russian immigrant who cleans toilets for a living. She encounters Caine (Channing Tatum), an interplanetary warrior whom the Queen of the Universe sent to kill Jupiter. Caine tells Jupiter that the stars were pointing to an extraordinary event on the night she was born, and that her DNA could mark her as the universe's next leader.
