Science fiction and fantasy can expand your mind and thrill your senses — but they can also make you laugh your head off. Some of the funniest books, movies and TV shows are science fiction. But what's the funniest fantasy or science fiction comedy ever?
As with yesterday's post about outer-space shows, we're trying a slightly different format this week, to determine the top 10 or 20 things in this category. The steps are:
1) Post only one comment per item. Please check to make sure someone else hasn't already posted it before you, or you will split the vote.
2) Don't just include a picture, include the name of the thing, so people can do a word search for it. But please also include a picture or clip.
3) Vote for the thing you think is the best, by starring the comment that contains it. Feel free to explain why this is the best in the category, by responding to that comment — we can get epic threads going about a lot of these shows/movies/books.
4) Please be nice. We all love to argue about what's the greatest thing, but there's no need to be mean.
