They've got Dark Souls and Mass Effect coffee mugs. Of the two of them, she's got a bigger and better game collection. Their little mini-dachshund is called Ico. Yeah, Omar Avila's marriage proposal to his girlfriend of seven years was going to have to be special.
Avila warned Diana Birsin that a big Christmas present was coming but says that his longtime romance option was completely blindsided by his game-centric request for her hand. Probably because he started drawing and talking at the same time. Here's what he said and what he drew during a dinner at a restaurant:
So I know you have been wondering what I got you for Christmas.
That was kind of a little white lie.
I got you something a bit more special than a Christmas present.
We have been together for a little over seven years now and you make me feel like the luckiest guy being with you.
And we have done some pretty amazing things in those seven years too!
We saved the galaxy from super sentient robots.
We've killed the Devil more times than I can count.
We've fought off hordes of zombies on Earth and in space.
And we even helped a hero in green save his kingdom and princess (this is when I pulled the ring box out)
The best part was that I got to experience all of that with you.
And anything else that life has to bring I want to experience it with you by my side.
