For the second time running, this year's season of Game of Thrones was the discerning pirate's programme of choice.
It wasn't the most talked about episode of the season, The Rains of Castamere, that cinched the title for the series but the finalé, Mhysa, which saw 5.9 million people pay the Iron Price on BitTorrent to check out the aftermath of the Red Wedding and Daenerys freeing the slaves of Yunkai. It's the second year in a row that the series has held the dubious honor, with Season 2's Valar Morghulis being downloaded over 4.2 million times. If anything, it's something creators behind the series have began to embrace, with some arguing that piracy is almost an essential aspect of Game of Throne's monumental success.
